Event Support Specialist, US

Pixellot is seeking intelligent, motivated, and hard-working part-time staff members to work with our existing partners during their events nationwide. They will become well-versed in state-of-the-art technology and video streaming techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring live sporting events nationwide (5-25 hours a week)
  • Working with our partners to identify and solve problems in their video broadcasts
  • Provide detailed reports to the Pixellot team

Pixellot is seeking an organized and efficient full-time manager to lead our Events Support Team as Pixellot continues its expansion into the United States. Surrounded by state-of-the art technology, this employee will receive leadership experience and become well-versed in managing a fast-paced environment. Job is located in the Arlington, VA area.

Software Engineer (Web Full Stack)

We are looking for an experienced full-stack web developer to lead the server side of our technology, including all of Pixellot web development and cloud workflow. We’re building innovative hardware and software into our cameras, while our cloud processing and website are where it all comes together as a complete product. The ideal candidate is excited by new technology, thrives on new challenges and is motivated to deliver world-class new product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work as part of a small team to design and deploy phenomenal web applications and platforms.
  • Work with offshore teams to build a full product
  • Develop a full-featured website and API where users can access, interact with, and share their video
  • Greatly expand and enhance our current web and server infrastructure
  • Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to enhance the user experience
  • Help lead the design, implementation and deployment of new features to improve the speed and functionality of our web applications

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years’ experience designing and delivering scalable full-stack web solutions
  • Experience developing for cloud services such as AWS
  • Experience with web frameworks such as node.js
  • Expertise with front-end frameworks like AngularJS
  • Ability to ensure cross-browser and platform compatibility for developed features
  • Working knowledge of responsive design principles
  • BS Computer Science or a similar field preferred
  • Knowledge in streaming of media – advantage
  • Leading experiences – advantage

QA Engineer

A young and promising startup with a leading product in the field of TV production, sport and internet viewing experience is looking for a QA Engineer.
The job requires experience in testing Window and\or Linux environments, experience in QA methodologies, networking and testing of end-to-end solutions. The position includes field testing and demos worldwide.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years of experience in QA
  • Experience in building & configuring lab environment for testing
  • Ability to understand and test E2E aspects of the product
  • Self-learner
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent technical comprehension, ability to understand complex systems
